Mr. Boubacar Kounta is the Vice President of the Board of the African Cashew Alliance (ACA) and the President of the Interprofession Cajou du Sénégal (ICAS – Senegal Cashew Association).
He also serves as the Official Representative of the Senegal Chamber of Commerce in Southern Senegal and the Chairman & CEO of the Casamance Agro-Industry Platform, an initiative dedicated to promoting industrial development and value addition in the agribusiness sector.
He holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance.
Mr. Kounta is an experienced entrepreneur in the cashew and peanut industries, with over ten years of expertise in agribusiness development, trade, and value chain promotion across West Africa.
